Today, I’m excited to share a podcast I’ve been loving, a pretty cool study, my favorite smoothie recipe, a current read, and more.
Let’s get into it…
For the last few years, I’ve really been focused on prioritizing my muscle strength. With that comes soreness, tension, and just the general aches and pains that come with recovery. If you can relate, BON CHARGE’s Infrared PEMF Devices are a total game-changer. They combine the soothing power of infrared heat with Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) therapy to target deep muscle areas and relieve stiffness and aches, all in the comfort of your own home.
Unlike traditional recovery methods, the BON CHARGE Infrared PEMF Devices penetrate deeply into muscle tissues, using electromagnetic pulses to boost circulation. Whether you’re recovering after a gym session or just dealing with everyday muscle soreness, PEMF technology provides relief that other methods can’t.
I’ve tried a lot of different methods to ease muscle tension and recover from the daily strain, but the BON CHARGE Infrared PEMF Devices have made a noticeable difference in how I feel. It’s simple, effective, and has given me the relief I was searching for, especially with muscle recovery.
I use my PEMF mat before going to bed, when I’m on a work call, or when I’m watching a movie with my wife. It honestly helps me relax so much. The setup is simple: just unfold the mat, plug it in, and select it from the settings. It’s great that the settings are customizable to meet your specific needs.
If you’re looking for deeper relaxation, better sleep, and recovery, check out Bon Charge’s PEMF devices. They make it hassle-free with worldwide shipping, easy returns and exchanges, and a 12-month warranty.

Study: Walking Faster Makes You Smarter
Is there a benefit to being a fast walker? Science says yes! Shoutout to Dr. Nicholas Fabiano on X for sharing this fun and fascinating study. It turns out gait speed is connected to brain health. In his breakdown of this study, Dr. Fabiano explains that a slow gait was associated with “compromised structural brain integrity, including smaller total brain volume, global cortical thinning, and reduced total surface area.” Slow walkers in midlife also had poorer neurocognitive functioning and lower IQs!
There’s still a lot to unpack here, but we know that a slow gait could be due to poor physical health, accelerated aging, and other challenges that can lead to a less than optimal brain! If anything, this is just more evidence as to why we should work on our physical health (including mobility, speed, and strength) from an early age.
I highly recommend this podcast If you’re looking for a compelling listen. Telepathy Tapes is a documentary series-style podcast that dives into the idea that some autistic children are able to communicate telepathically. It follows the work of psychiatrist Diane Hennacy Powell and uses interviews with families of non-verbal individuals, anecdotes, tests, and more to discuss the potentially paranormal powers of this community. Really fascinating stuff and right up my alley for exploring the unknown phenomena of life.
I’m always looking for the best meal delivery service, and right now, my favorite is Blueprint Meals from Bryan Johnson, the longevity guru. These meals are gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, and super nutrient-rich. My one issue is that they’re packaged in plastic, but pretty much all meal delivery services use plastic, and hopefully, one day in the future, there will be a more sustainable and less toxic way to send food.
This is my current bedside read. Steven Pressfield, one of my favorite authors, is super well-known for his thoughts on struggling to do the work required of us to be fulfilled professionally, creatively, and otherwise. His book, The War of Art, is on my top ten list of books, and recently, I’ve been loving The Daily Pressfield.
If you want a little motivation and reflection to help you start writing, start your next business, a new diet, a workout program, or more, I highly recommend this book. He gives 365 prompts filled with inspiration, wisdom, and the encouragement we all need to make our dreams a reality. I like to read one each morning after I wake up to set the tone for the day.
My Current Daily Smoothie

If you’re serious about your protein goals, I feel like a daily or occasional smoothie is a must. The key is mixing things up every so often so you don’t get bored. I do this all the time, so I thought I’d share my current recipe with my audience.
Why I love this recipe is that it helps me hit my protein goals, doesn’t use any liquid besides water (boxed almond milk often has gut-damaging emulsifiers), and—most importantly—tastes freaking amazing! Seriously, I’ve made it for about 10 friends, and they’ve all loved it!
So, if you’re looking for a new smoothie recipe to shake things up, try this one out!
Dhru’s Q1 Protein Smoothie (Serves 1)
Ingredients
- 10 ounces of water
- 2 scoops of protein powder (currently using Vanilla Grass-Fed Beef Protein Powder)
- 50 grams of organic frozen strawberries
- 30 grams of organic frozen avocado
- ½ teaspoon of organic whole coffee beans (for a nice crunch and a tiny caffeine boost)
Instructions
- Fill your blender with 10 ounces of water
- Toss in 2 scoops of your preferred protein powder
- If you’re using the beef protein above, I like to take 30 seconds to blend the protein with water alone because it makes the smoothie creamier vs blending all the ingredients together right away
- Toss the strawberries, frozen avocado, and coffee beans into the blender
- Blend all the ingredients on high and serve
