On today’s Broken Brain Podcast, I talk about a 5-minute tool that we can use to leave the past behind. 

 

The problem with continuously living in the past is that it’s hard to be present with what’s happening right now in the present. There is a quote by Lao Tzu, a famous philosopher and author, and he says “If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present.” 

 

In this episode, I guide you through a mindfulness practice called, Falling Still, that was taught to me by my mentor Sarano Kelley, to bring us back into the present moment.
